Poem for #5

Towering over you like a vine, I kissed your head
Embarrassed by the size difference, we walked on a hill
We shared a coke and you thought it was a kiss

The adults looked at me with disappointment that night
All the boys at our church looked with confusion
You thought that I adored you, but I just liked attention

The next week I found out you carved my name in the gym wall
Something about the obsession really turned me on
So I kissed you behind the church that weekend

I met someone older and taller, so I broke up with you
You punched a hole in a wall at the church
A couple years later, you punched my boyfriend
